I had to laugh at the post game interview with Cappy, was he serious at the end?

"anybody, anybody else?" while looking around the room. come on Cap like there was more than 2 members of the so called press there and 1 was probably Dee

First order of biz in off season is get a real coach. Let's really look at last night. Isles lost b/c nanny gave a gift goal to start game. Then followed it up with another goal he should have saved. At that moment. Cappy should have brought in Montoya . Isles outplayed the flyers tonight. Yet another night we don't get the win. Story of the season. Jt using the board is hilarious. Not only is he incredible talent but at 20 yr old he know more than his coach. Sad.

Same talent basically this year. same coach...only so much you can do with that as a player or coach. we have two 30 goal scorers, a few kids making some noise...a coach that has no clue what else he can do, no matter if he is AHL calibre or not...not much can be done with the same mix, actually maybe a worse mix this year. So I'll cut jack some slack but in the end he still needs to be gone. every single ounce of blame falls on Garth....he doesn't have the ability or connections to make good deals for this club. yes he got a few good playes in his time here but its about the next level. i'll say he was good for our rebuild but since thats done now we need a GM that can make deals happen, take some chances and make us better. there is a reason Nino got rushed. If we were able to bring in the quality players other GMs could we would have no room for nino....that falls on Garth...he needs to go!!!

I don't think i remember a player ever doing that in all the years i've watched hockey. (Since 1988)

Shows you how much people actually listen to what Tavares has to say.

He was just demonstrating that he has just as much experience now as Doug Weight to be the next Isles coach.

What does that say about the coach? The comment in the youtube video link is hilarious, btw.

How could that surprise anyone? The players obviously respect 91 more. You know what? They should.

I'm sure everybody knew what play to call with a second left.

I'm sure Cappy will be gone in the offseason if that's really what the team wants. No sense in doing it now... we need the loses. Cappy is doing fine.

I don't put the full blame on Cappy... you play with the players you have.

But I think they need somebody with some passion.

We need more players like Martin and Casey. Grinders!!!

Small changes on this team will help alot!!!

What this team needs is what they have needed for quite some time:

A top winger to play with Tavares and Moulson.
A big, tough banging player to play on the second or third line who can also score a bit.
Two quality d-men.
A #1 goalie. Maybe it's time to play the kids and see which can grab the reins.
Hire a NAME head coach who knows what he's doing . Brings instant and sorely needed credibility to this franchise.

Oh, yes. And FINALLY rid themselves of Dipietro. Whether it's with the new CBA or however they do it, it's past time.

I agree with you on all points but you forgot that they need a new GM too.

That is alot, especially hoping to get that from a GM who is not capable of signing a FA or making a trade.

Rebuild is done?

Since when?

BTW... this team needs a real coach.. not a new GM
